Flange Bolts / Stove Bolts

We supplies plenty of varieties of flange and stove bolts with wide specifications into diameter, length, material and grades.

The flange bolt can be identified by the ridge of the bolt head. By using a built-in washer on the underside of the head of the bolt the fastening down force is more evenly distributed across a larger area without compromising any strength compared to a traditional separate washer. These can be used many places where a bolt and washer are needed, like car or truck frames, or even aircraft applications. It is available in Hex Head and Hex Head Serrated styles, the serrated head adds extra grip between the bolt and mating surface.

Stove bolts are used in metal to metal, metal to wood, and wood to wood applications. They are machine screws with either a slotted flat countersunk head or slotted round head and are used with either hex or square nuts to clamp down the desired surfaces together. The three smaller sizes of stove bolts are specified in terms of their approximate fractional inch size rather than a number size like customary machine screws.

Grade 8 Frame Bolts

Flanged head - A flanged head can be any of the above head styles (except the countersunk styles) with the addition of an integrated flange at the base of the head. This eliminates the need for a flat washer.

Grade 8 Frame Locknuts

A bolt is an externally threaded fastener designed for insertion through holes in assembled parts, and is normally intended to be tightened or released by torquing a nut. A screw is an externally threaded fastener capable of being inserted into holes in assembled parts, of mating with a preformed internal thread or forming its own thread, and of being tightened or released by torquing the head. An externally threaded fastener which is prevented from being turned during assembly and which can be tightened or released only by torquing a nut is a bolt. (Example: round head bolts, track bolts, plow bolts.)

Flat Head Stove Bolts

A stove bolt is a type of machine screw that has a round or flat head and is threaded to the head. They are usually made of low grade steel, have a slot or Phillips drive, and are used to join sheet metal parts using a hex or square nut.
